Overcoming The Lust Of The Flesh

Father, I choose to eat of Your Word that brings life. I put on the Lord Jesus, eating of His flesh and drinking of His blood that brings life abundantly. I walk in the Holy Spirit so that there is no room for the flesh. I give myself to be fruitful, multiply and replenished so that I am able to subdue and take dominion over those things that will to make me a slave to sin. I buffet my body with prayer and self-control so that I may not lose the reward promised to those who overcome the temptations of the flesh. I give no thought to my needs. I take time to pray so that when my faith is shifted I do not fall away during times of temptations. I remind myself that my body is made for the Lord and not fornications; I am bought with a price. I put on the new man in Jesus which is righteousness and holiness.
