Father, this is a day You have made and I will rejoice in it. There will be trials but I am of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world. I guard my time by doing only those things I have set my mind to do. I don't browse the world looking to see what they have to offer. I don’t kindly reminisce to my former life less I take an opportunity to return to bondage. I guard my eyes by not allowing them to rest on what is potentially unholy for me. I guard my ears by not listening to the reports of the world. I guard my heart by minding the true treasure of the Word of God. I guard my life by being wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove

Father, All my needs are met in Christ Jesus. I lack no good thing and I am content with food, and clothing and every word that proceeds from Your mouth. I look forward to the new city of Jerusalem that is given to those who have made themselves ready by the washing of the word. I look beyond the cross to the joy you have laid up for the faithful and true. I am content to be last in this world for I am first in the world to come. Jesus I am content to be found in You.

Father, I am saved by grace through faith. Your grace is the power to overcome and faith to believe You are willing and able to help me overcome. Today, I receive your grace to fulfill my desire to serve and obey. It is not by my strength but by your Spirit. I ask for Your wisdom to accomplish in me what I could not accomplish on my own; Your good, acceptable and perfect will. If grace came from good works, grace would no longer be grace. Your grace is sufficient to overcome all obstacles. I receive the abundance of grace to work mighty works and to enter your rest in Christ Jesus.

Father, You are not out of touch but know how it is to be tempted in all manner but still did not sin. Because You suffered while being tempted, You know how to help me. No temptation formed against me will prosper but will be null and ineffective. Being tempted is not sin, giving into temptation is sin. There is no temptation that is uncommon to me. You are well able to keep me from sinning by upholding your word. Temptation must come but I am an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony and I love not my life unto death.
